Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000 allows a general right of access (subject to exemptions) to information held by public authorities. The Act has been introduced to promote greater openness by these authorities.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, East Midlands Ambulance Service has a legal obligation to produce a publication scheme that details all the information available from EMAS and where it can be found.
