Medals and awards have been presented to 13 members of staff for their dedication and for 210 years of service to EMAS between them.
Nottinghamshire Division’s Rewards and Recognition ceremony was held at The Oakham Suite in Mansfield yesterday.
At the event, Brian Wilkinson was presented with a medal for serving 40 dedicated years as a paramedic in Worksop.
Matt Emmonds, Clinical Operations Manager, Simon Clunie, a paramedic from Hucknall and Paramedic Keith Knowles were presented with 30 years’ service medals.
And Alan Good, Clinical Operations Manager, paramedic Bev Caldwell, technician Peter Birkin and technician Stephen Bye have all been presented with 20 years’ service medals.
Carole Stanley and Pauline Benson were also presented with retirement awards, and three other awards were given out –A Chief Commendation for Hannah Sundquist and the General Manager’s Award for Wayne Stevenson.
An award for the late Ralph Bowness, Make Ready at Newark Ambulance Station, for Outstanding Contribution for Services to Newark Ambulance Station was accepted by his son and daughter, Justin and Angie.
