We are pleased to announce that our commissioners have offered to extend our Patient Transport Service contract in Derbyshire for an additional year, which we have now accepted.
This means that our three-year contract has been extended to a four-year contract, and so we will continue to provide non-emergency patient transport in the county until at least July 2020.
Joy Weldin, General Manager for Patient Transport Services, said:
“This is fantastic news and testament to all the hard work everyone has put in to making the service a success.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in our Patient Transport Service for their dedication to providing excellent patient care and their efforts over the last two years. I look forward to continuing to work with you all over the next two years.”
