One of our ambulances transporting an emergency patient to hospital was involved in a serious road traffic collision involving two cars at 12.16pm on 28 August on Lincoln Road in Sleaford.
The patient on board the ambulance at the time of the collision continued their journey to hospital in another ambulance. Multiple ambulance resources attended the incident including the air ambulance and a LIVES paramedic.
Two additional patients suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. One ambulance crew member also suffered minor injuries.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the person who tragically died in the collision.
“Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this incident. The police are now carrying out an investigation into what happened, and it is therefore inappropriate to make any further comment at this time.”
