Colleagues from across our Leicestershire division were recognised for their long service and outstanding contribution in a ceremony at Normanton on Soar on Thursday 11 July 2024. 

Frontline colleagues were recognised on the day, with recipients clocking up an EMAZING 170 years of service between them.

Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Leicestershire Professor Bob Allison CBE and Deputy Director of Operations Tim Slater presented the awards to the deserving recipients. They were also joined on the day by Head of Operations Russell Smalley, Divisional Senior Manager for Quality Mark Dixon and Director of Strategy and Transformation Will Legge.

During the awards, those presenting shared stories of their experience working with the recipients, including funny anecdotes and times where they had gone above and beyond in their role. 

The Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Leicestershire thanked the staff for their unwavering commitment to their role and patients across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
