A memorial garden and training room have opened at our Lincoln control room in memory of a deeply missed colleague.
In August last year our colleague Lesley Levick sadly passed away. Lesley joined Lincolnshire Ambulance Service working within Patient Transport Services and later joined our Lincoln control room.
Colleagues at Bracebridge Heath have worked extremely hard to transform the tired, overgrown area at the back of Lincoln Headquarters into a memorial garden for staff to enjoy, relax and reflect on their time with Lesley.
Changes have also been made indoors and the training room has been renamed the Levick Suite which has today been opened by Lesley’s granddaughter Millie.
A special thank you to our maintenance company Premier who donated their staff’s time to enable the garden to be complete. Money from the EMAS charity also supported the transformation.
Family and friends of Lesley’s have today joined colleagues at Bracebridge to celebrate the opening.
