Thick fog and icy roads

his evening we're getting reports from some of our ambulance crews of thick fog patches across parts of the East Midlands.

Please take extra care if you are due to go out driving: 

• Lights on
• Slow down, and 
• Keep plenty of distance between your vehicle and the one in front.
   

Please also make sure you use 999 wisely. Driving conditions for our crews are particularly challenging in fog.
