Three cars belonging to ambulance staff at Retford Ambulance Station were broken into while they were at work responding to patients. The vehicles were parked outside the station on North Road on the evening of Saturday 19 August.

Wendy Hazard Ambulance Operations Manager for Nottinghamshire said: “We’re really disappointed to hear that our staff have been targeted. The vehicles were parked on East Midlands Ambulance Service property in an ambulance station car park so whoever did this would have known they belonged to our staff. The stolen items were low value, including headphones and an empty sunglasses case, but the impact this type of behaviour has on our staff is huge.

“We will work with Nottinghamshire Police to support their investigations.”
